with any outdoor activity the weather plays a major role, in fact with
allotment gardening plays a critical role. So knowing the weather is a
vital and knowing the local weather rather than a vague regional or
national forecast is essential. There are many sites providing many
forecasts we have listed two links below to weather web sites whose
local forecasts we have found to be the most reliable on the web. To

A local forecast
provided by the BBC Weather Centre, it gives summary of the weather
expected over the next five days giving details of cloud, temperature,
visibility, pressure, humidity, sun index, pollution and sunrise/set.
A 15 day local forecast
provided by AccuWeather, it gives a brief description of the weather
expected over the next fifteen days, as well as more detailed daily
day/night or hourly forecasts detailing temperature, wind, pressure,
